Dog Walking Information

For our dog walking service we will need to come and visit your dog before agreeing to take him/her on. This is so we can match them in groups correctly to ensure that they get the most of our dog walking service. This is what we call an induction, at this time we will take necessary details down about your dog and get to meet them and perform a simple temperament test, you will get to meet us too and ask us any questions that you have. We will gather up as much information as we can during the induction so it would be good to have the details to hand before we arrive. Some dogs may not be able to walk in groups; we do provide a 30 min solo/lead walk in these cases. Your dog will get a 30 minute walk with us in these cases at a local park or along the streets on a lead. This can be good for a young puppy or an older dog that cannot cope with a whole hour dog walking.

All Dogs are walked at safe places check out our Dog Walks page for more information. Your dog will be transported in one of our vans taken to a walking destination and walked for at least one hour with group walks. Then they will be towelled down, given water and settled back for the return journey home. You can expect them to be out of the house for around 2 hours or more in total. Sometimes we take dogs out for day trips to Westonbirt or the beach throughout the year, so your dog may be out even longer. We pride ourselves in having a strict dog to handler ratio of 6. We NEVER walk any more than 6 dogs to one person at a time and often this is less. Every dog walked has a report left for them after they are returned, this is great for you to know what your dog gets up to, what time they were picked up and dropped back and where they walked.

Pet Visiting Information

For Our pet visiting service we will need to come and meet you and your pet before you go away, to go through paperwork and find out what your animal needs i.e. if your cat is allowed outside etc. During the induction we will get to meet your pet and find out exactly what you would like us to do as customers routines differ. We can provide little added extras to our visiting service like taking in your bins, opening curtains and turning lights on and off. The pet sitter induction enables you to meet your specific pet sitters, so you know who is entering your property each time. We pride ourselves on giving you the highest level of care with a very personal touch. You will be left a report of each visit, this enables you to return from holiday and read through to see what your pet has been up to whilst you are away. You are able to text through to find out how they are getting on and can have photo updates too.
